Admission to the course is subject to space availability. Once the course fee is paid, no refunds or adjustments will be granted.
Candidates are required to pay the fee according to the scheduled schedule. Failure to do so will disqualify the candidate from attending the course or a late fee may be assessed.
Candidates are advised to request a valid receipt for each payment. Duplicate receipts will not be issued under any circumstances. Transactions made without a receipt or to an unauthorized person/account will not be honored.
Family members or friends accompanying applicants are not permitted on campus property under any circumstances.
Since this is a residential internship, candidates are required to remain on campus during the entire training period. However, on Sundays, they are allowed to take a field trip.
No vacation is allowed during training unless it is an emergency. Permission to take vacation may be granted by extending the training for the duration of the vacation.
If an applicant does not attend classes, drops out of training due to illness or personal problems, or decides not to continue/postpone training within 6 months of the admission date, their application will be canceled in accordance with Institute policy.
Rescheduling of the course is subject to availability of seats and is valid for a period of six months from the date of admission. Fees will be charged for rescheduling or rescheduling in accordance with Institute policy.
Cell phones are allowed only on Saturdays and Sundays, and parents may contact the official hostel number if needed.
Possession or use of alcohol, drugs, tobacco or other intoxicating substances is strictly prohibited. Violation may result in suspension, fine or expulsion from the facility.
Applicants are expected to have a neat appearance and be clean shaven, except for Sikh cadets.
Candidates must adhere to daily routine hours for dormitory and educational activities.
Candidates are responsible for the security of their property and valuables.
Candidates must keep their living area clean and tidy.
The cost of any loss or damage to furniture, fixtures or equipment will be charged to the candidate.
Candidates are strictly prohibited from using profanity, behaving in an improper or undisciplined manner, or committing physical assaults.
If a candidate is involved in unlawful or undesirable off-campus activities, the Institute cannot be held responsible.
Guardians are expected to keep their ward informed of his/her progress.
Upon completion of training, the On-Board Training/Placement process will be initiated upon receipt of all required documents/certificates.
The candidate will bear the cost of On-Board Training/Placement in India or abroad.
Placement will be based on the candidate’s aptitude, skills and training record. Suezmax Marine Placement Cell arranges placements on its manned vessels in Indian coastal shipping or on vessels sailing abroad.

The Institute reserves the right to take necessary action against the applicants in case of any violation of the rules and regulations.
