Requirement

A candidate must have passed the 10th standard with Science, Mathematics, and English from a recognized board.
 
There is a minimum requirement of 40% marks in the 10th grade.
 
The English language grade in either the 10th or 12th standard must be at least 40%.
Age – 17 to 28 years
(+) or (-) eye vision allowed

A Brief Description Of The Course

Have a limited budget and want to join the Merchant Navy? Look no further than our 90-day basic awareness programme, which includes a mandatory STCW course approved by D.G. Shipping Govt. Of India.

This module is designed for individuals with a strong desire to enter the Merchant Navy. STCW basic safety training is mandatory for seafarers employed or engaged in any capacity onboard ships at all levels, such as deck and engine room rating qualifications. This course provides the necessary safety training required for navigation and all engineering certificates of competency.

Our course is ideal for those accustomed to large ships in the marine industry, as well as experienced mariners who have not previously received safety training. You will gain the knowledge and skills required to contain, report, and respond to a marine emergency, including fighting fires, abandoning ships, and understanding the basics of workplace safety.

Certificate Awarded

Upon completion of the training, a D.G. Shipping Govt of India approved academy will issue the STCW Course Certificate, along with INDOS & CDC documents. This certification recognizes successful completion of the basic safety training required for Seafarers employed or engaged onboard ships. It provides the knowledge and skills to contain, report, and respond to a marine emergency, right fires, abandon ship, and understand the basics of workplace safety.
